The Reverend Johannes M.P. George has been the Vicar of Christ the King Episcopal Church since August 2004. I came to Christ the King from St. Luke's Episcopal Health System where I served as a bishop's fellow until called to Christ the King as their Vicar.
As a pastor, I have taught extensively, prepared and administered the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Marriage as well as burying of the dead. I take a great deal of pleasure in welcoming people; in being with my congregation as Christians, working in fellowship and love meeting Jesus among other people.
Having personally experienced God's love and healing, I am called to deepen our relationship to God through the healing we extend to others and turn to for ourselves. Our regular Wednesday healing service and the prayers we offer each week at our Sunday worship demonstrate the inward desire to participate in this call, to reach out and to claim the healing promised by God for our souls.
You are welcome to this site and to Christ the King and know you will find a spiritual home here. We take our relationship to God and each other seriously and continually work to build a strong community of faith and fellowship. Welcome.
To share the unconditional love of God to all people.
